The controversy and drama associated with Serena Williams second serve foot fault captured on video, during the semifinal round of the 2009 US open will be in the memories of many people. For one, Serena Williams allegedly threatened the linesman who by the way looked very harmless. Will this linesman officiate in another tennis match in the future where one of the players is Serena Williams? Probably not.

The streaming video captured Serena Williams in a much closer angle after the linesman called the 2nd foot fault which is not Serena Williams’ best angle, in our view. The cameras had sensitive microphones and the audio was audible enough. Some blips can be heard to cover profane words. Profanity is not acceptable in national television, FYI. Because of this, Serena Williams committed a code violation and disqualification followed shortly. Kim Clijsters was announced winner and headed on to the US Open 2009 Finals.
