Though we love Asus Eee PC 900 Netbook models, this one with Webcam, 16GB SSD and Windows XP is not good in our view. We’re not giving it a good review because of its high price. The Asus Eee PC 900 Netbook with 1.3MP Webcam, 16GB SSD and installed Windows XP has a price of $179.99 + $5 shipping. Though this sounds cheap, the item is refurbished, not a brand new one. In our point of view, this product’s pricing is exorbitant. The only difference with the Asus Eee PC 900 4GB SSD Netbook is the availability of a webcam and more durable case/body. Other user reviews of Asus Eee PC 900 Netbook with Webcam, 16GB SSD and Windows XP we have read thus far are negative. Some reviews imply that many people (which includes us) did not like the pricing as well as some features. In our case, the pricing is on top of our list. Had it been a new unit, we wouldn’t have second thoughts in buying this. But for refurbished netboooks No way. We’d rather buy brand new Acer notebooks even if they are more expensive by a couple of hundred bucks. That’s our recommendation, look for cheap laptops with better specs.
