We recently purchased an Acer TravelMate 6292-6B2G25Mn notebook since we frequently go out of town. The Acer TravelMate 6292 laptop was obviously designed for travelers and people whose work require a handy gadget that will help help them discharge their functions more easily. This laptop is definitely the “reporter’s Notebook” as it only has a 12.1″ WXGA Acer CrystalBrite LCD screen. Very neat, very cute indeed.
Without further ado, here are the Acer TravelMate 6292 features and specs that will help you decide whether you should buy this notebook or not. After the technical specs, you’ll see how much does this laptop cost in the Philippines:
- Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5870 (2.0Ghz, 800 Mhz FSB, 2MB L2 cache)
- Mobile Intel Graphic Media Accelerator X3100
- Standard 2GB DDR2 Random Access Memory (RAM)
- 250GB HDD
- DVD-Super Multi DL
- 802.11 a/b/g/Draft-N WLAN
- Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR
- MG-Al Alloy Casing
- Video Conference
- Signal Up
- 1.3MP built-in webcam (Crystal Eye)
We are still testing the Acer TravelMate 6292 but initial results are very convincing. It loads much faster than our Lenovo G410 (purchased in September of 2008), Dell Inspiron Mini 9 netbook, and 2 other older models we use in publishing articles for this website. Price of Acer TravelMate 6292-6B2G25Mn in the Philippines is PhP 33,900 with an estimated variance of plus-minus PhP 3,000 of that amount depending on your location, bundled softwares, and other “freebies”.
Photo of the Acer TravelMate 6292 was taken using Polaroid (Black) i1035 10MP Digital Camera With 3″ LCD Display. Sorry for the mess in the background. This was the time when we just unboxed the notebook.
