Acer Aspire One 10.1″ LCD 1.6GHz Netbook Review: The Acer Aspire One D150 Netbook (Acer AOD 150) is a good companion for outdoors or travels. It can serve the usual work as saving documents, surfing the web and gaming. Acer Aspire One D150 Netbook (Acer AOD 150 netbook) is smaller than Acer TravelMate 6292 notebook with 12.1″ WXGA. Acer AOD 150 netbook only has 10.1″ WSVGA TFT LCD screen. The screen is small but one customer said it’s not that noticeable with its 1024×600 pixel resolution. It has a built-in Acer Crystal Eye webcam which may not be the best but clear and smooth enough for online video conferences. Also Acer Aspire One 10.1″ LCD 1.6GHz Netbook comes with a 6-cell battery that lasts 6-7 hours and a pre-installed Windows XP operating system.
However, some customers have some beef on Acer Aspire One D150 10.1″ LCD 1.6GHz Netbook. The buttons are on either side of the track pad instead of below. If you’re not used to it, you might need a USB mouse. Also, netbooks doesn’t have CD/DVD drives so installing softwares will need external USB CD/DVD drives. One more thing is that the battery is sticking out on the back that doesn’t look that cool.
