Acer Aspire AS5515-5187 Notebook Review: This notebook works excellently for internet searching, viewing movies, listening to music, picture/image editing and some light gaming. The Acer Aspire AS5515-5187 notebook’s screen is quite big and has a high resolution (1280 x 800). It can store reports, photos, documents and even videos. In short, it can perform basic functions. The cooling fan is located on its side which is better than under. Just hope its not like Acer TravelMate 6292 that is prone to overheating.

However, the Acer Aspire AS5515-5187 notebook’s processor speed of 1.6GHz is not that fast compared to Compaq CQ60 216DX that is 2.16GHz. Also some customer reviews said that the this notebook is not adequate enough for multi-tasking and playing heavy video games.

Overall, the Acer Aspire AS5515-5187 notebook is cheap, simple and easy to use. It functions well for activities that does not require much workload.
