The Nikon D3000 Digital SLR Camera was officially introduced last July 29, 2009. It was announced together with a more advanced Nikon model – the Nikon D300s 12MP DSLR Camera. Nikon D3000 DSLR is a 10 Megapixel digital camera with the DX-format imaging sensor. It can handle photos or images for prints up to 20 x 30 inches. The D3000 camera is powered with Nikon EXPEED image processing, an in-camera image editing tool and Active D-Lighting.

The Nikon D3000 DSLR Camera will be released this coming September 2009. Rumors say, the Nikon D3000 and Nikon D300s release date will be the same. Stay tuned for the exact Nikon D3000 release date.
